I’m not just a Certified Holistic Health Coach; I’m a mom who has walked the path of exhaustion and emerged with energy and vitality to savor life’s moments.

I help tired moms reclaim their vigor and vitality so that they can enjoy their families and thrive in all aspects of life.

How I Got Here....

After working as an elementary teacher for 10 years, my own battle with burnout led me to leave my job (and salary!) and embrace a more simple life as a homeschooling mom.

My husband Brandon and I have two wonderful boys, two dogs, and chickens on our cozy little homestead in North Carolina. My faith and family are the cornerstones of my life.

To be honest, my health was not a huge priority to me….until it had to be.

Life was great – laughs around the dinner table, Nerf bullets flying out of nowhere, date nights with my husband, a rewarding job, a great church we regularly attended, and a budding new hobby as a blogger. Life was fast-paced and we were ALWAYS busy. But everything seemed fine – until debilitating fatigue made the happiness and fun times fade away.

I became exhausted all the time, I could barely make it through the day without feeling like I was about to fall over. I had pain in my back and neck I couldn’t relieve. My hair all a sudden became really dry and started to thin. My eczema (which I THOUGHT had healed) flared up. And worst of all…I became depressed. The glass was now always half empty.

Like you, I searched for answers, spinning through cycles of confusion and desperation. When I finally gave in and went to the doctor, she ran some basic tests and told me all is good and it must just be in my head (the WORST thing to say!). I went to specialists who put me on meds just to see if they would help. But prescriptions and dismissiveness weren’t the answers for me.

I wasn’t about to accept that it was just a  part of getting older and there’s nothing really wrong with me. I wanted answers and relief.

So I took matters into my own hands. I immersed myself in nutrition and health, I became a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Holistic Health Coach, and I dove into how energy is actually made in the body. And that let me to really, truly discovering the METABOLISM.

I journeyed deep into the world of wellness, discovering the transformative power of nutrition, stress management, respectful movement, and a lifestyle that supports a healthy metabolism. I learned the role my hormones were playing, how to support my adrenals, and what minerals have to do with it all. I used functional lab tests that actually got to the root cause of my symptoms and gave me answers.

Once I started implementing the things I learned….everything changed.

I began to feel like myself again. My mood stabilized, my eczema healed for good (without having to eliminate tons of foods), my sleep improved, and my energy dramatically increased.

After learning the hard way, through a lot of time and trial and error, I did it. I overcame my fatigue and all of my other symptoms. And my passion and purpose shifted. Health and wellness became a huge passion of mine. But so did sharing with others. I wanted to help keep other moms from experiencing the things that I did.

So I created The Fatigue to Freedom System – a step-by-step method for tired moms who want to stop the exhaustion without the trial and error I endured and want a simpler way to reach their goal of having consistent energy.

Now I work with women who need this information and solutions that nobody else is offering them so that they can make informed decisions about their health and, not just get “back” to how they used to feel, but feel better than ever!
